Well, considering that you look to be a fan of Poe, I thought you might like the following poem I wrote in English 101.
Sleep Of Sleeps
To sleep the sleep of Hamlet's sleep,
to journey forth no more.
To hear the sounds of tapping soft,
coming from thine door.
Realities that yo deny,
have come to seek you out.
Is it real or make believe,
your mind now reals about.
The air is cool despite the fire,
it's warmth you do not feel.
As knocking at the door you hear,
the fright you feel now real.
Tis it but a windswept branch,
by fate against your door to brush.
Or is it something darker still,
your fate has come your life to crush.
Poedrian themes run through your mind,
the raven comes to light.
With this your hour the bell to toll,
that raps on this dark night.
Such comfort of a brand new day,
that such would offer you.
Is still so very far away,
the specter's come for you.
Well, I hope you liked it, as Poe's is a little harder to emulate
than that of the 'Bards, but then, they have never figured out who the 'Bard
is, have they?

I first saw your page over a year ago, and well I thought it
was great then.. The graphics are wonderful, but I have to
say that the pages are getting a bit on the busy side, so much
on one page can really make it look tacky. The red and the
blue clash and are hard on the eyes.

Today was the third time that this site was referenced by some of the
web stuff I was paging through, so I had to check it out.
I had heard about a web page that had an animated flying
genie that floated across the entire screen (not just in

My kudos on the login as root.. that actually looked real at
first.. =) I must say that is an impressive use of the Meta
tag. I have been to your site about 20 times i am always
impressed with something first it was the animated gifs then
the ascii art. I used the Mentor's Hacker's Manifesto in my
speech on ethical hackers vs. crackers, so thank you for
making that available. It is always intriging when ppl use
not so amazing technology to make amazing things, ie your
graphics. I don't know if you have ever cracked anything
but you are in the truest form of the word a hacker. Well

Cool page, especially like the little firedrop-blast cloud animation, as
well as the MAGIC:TG symbols(hope WOTC doesn't try to sue you) I am contemplating
of creating a home page myself, and could use some tips on how to utilize Java
scripts and what not. I also have an interest in computer graphics and sound,
but I have very little programming experience and knowledge(as of now), since
I am changing over from my accounting major to computer science. The first step
for me is to create an awesome homepage just by utilizing a standard word
processing program instead of all these fancy programs like MS FrontPage and
Symantec's Cafe. I would like to know if there are any good sampling programs
out there that I can mix and dub some songs, I also want to DJ, but I also play
guitar and would like to hook up a drum machine and synthesizer up to my PC and
create some of my own industrial and techno. Maybe you can help me out by
recommending some good programs.
By the way, I see a few people posting to the alt.binaries.newsgroups using the
name RAVEN, and was just curious if that was you, since that RAVEN posted some
nasty viruses(heheh for those stupid unfortuante bastards that unzipped an
unknown file with .exe, or .com extension, come on how stupid can someone be.

This is probably the most unique and well done page I have seen on the net
since I started browsing 8 Months ago. I too am into animations and sound and
spend about six hour a day browsing and looking for new and interesting things
that I think I might like to incorporate into my home page. Compared to yours,

Not bad. A word of advice though: Granted, you know your stuff when it comes to java
scripts and such, but it would help bandwidth and all these people connected by 28.8
modems to keep the fancy scripts down and/or distribute them over a larger area.

At present, I'm a student at the Univ. of Wisconsin.
My field of study is video and computer art.
I have found your web page very interesting indeed.
I'm doing a video piece based on the Raven.
I plan to do most of the editing on the Mac using Adobe Premire.
Along with dance and movement I hope to include scanned images of gothic architecture and themes.
I was wondering if you could direct me to any sites that speacialize in gothic art suitable to such a cause?
